Using a wide range of materials including dye-based watercolours, water-soluble pastels, acrylic paint, foam rollers, markers and fineliners, we experimented with painting all sorts of fruit, using layering, blending, texture and mark-making. The course was all about letting go of perfection, embracing curiosity and enjoying the process of making art

There’s something irresistible about painting root vegetables — the colours, the textures, the earthy beauty of what grows underground.
