Jenny Muncaster has recently finished a brand new collection of paintings for Raymond Blanc’s ‘Brasserie Blanc’ restaurants. Inspired by recipes handed down to Raymond Blanc by his mother the finished artworks with all their colour and texture describes the beauty of food with a lot of passion and a pinch of humour.

‘I can begin to tell a story about the recipes in my paintings,' says Jenny. 'From sourcing the ingredients at the local market, scribbled notes on shopping lists and the paraphernalia of all those cooking implements to the actual food itself. Raymond Blanc’s recipes are a great source of inspiration, and it has given me great joy interpreting them in my distinctive way’.
